UNESCO data highlights[1] that out of 96 countries, Uzbekistan is the only country where the rural students achieve higher than the national average.
UNESCO data highlights[2] that in rural Australia,[3] across all age ranges, the testing of reading, math’s and science, shows Australian rural students are achieving less than their urban counterparts. Indeed, students in Australian rural schools perform 56 score points lower than students in Australian cities or large city schools.[4]
How can we support Australian rural students to achieve higher than they do?
